My road trip to Lahore.

 Hi everyone! I hope you all are fine. A few months ago I went on a road trip to Lahore with my family,
so following is an essay I wrote about my road trip. I hope you like it.

In February 2024 when the weather was a perfect breezy chill, my family planned to go to Lahore by road.
The trip was mainly planned because of my cousin's wedding in Lahore. I was excited because it was my first road trip experience. I was also a bit nervous because I have a motion sickness problem.
My whole family was going - me, my older sister, my younger brother, and my parents.
So, we started packing things on Thursday; the day before we left. I packed my: night suit, my toothbrush, and some warm clothes - it was going to be very cold there - a nice science fiction novel and my diary and some pens. My mum packed food in the night so we didn't keep whining in the car for food.
The next day early in the morning, about 6:30 am I woke up and got ready. My siblings were already up and were getting ready too. I got my bag and skipped downstairs happily. The day had arrived, Finally!
Me and my siblings waited downstairs for our parents to carry the other bags and stuff. We were going in our own car and my father was going to drive. My parents came downstairs with the stuff. We loaded the bags in the car trunk got inside and started our journey quickly as it was already late. We were going to stop for afternoon supper in Sukkur, then stay the night in Multan. We were going to continue in the morning for Lahore. After a while of driving, we were hungry and had breakfast because we didn't have any breakfast before we left. We went on and on driving fast. We were going so fast that the railing of the road was almost invisible. We now had crossed Hyderabad and were going to reach Sukkur in a few hours. When we arrived in Sukkur it was about 1-2 pm so we prayed zuhr prayers and had our afternoon supper. After that, we set off again to Multan. My father said we would reach there by night. We went on and on for hours. The road was very smooth and straight here on the motorway, unlike Sukkur's bumpy ones. Finally, Multan had arrived. We decided to have dinner first. We chose a restaurant called Bandu Khan. We had our dinner there. The food was fantastic. We had Seekh Kebab, chicken Karhai, and Naan. After that, we began searching for our hotel. After some very long minutes of finding and searching, we found the right one. Its name was Hotel Royal One. We spent the night there, sleeping after a tiresome journey. In the morning we went out to explore the mausoleums and historic places of Multan. We also went to a museum and a souvenir shop. I bought a keychain from there. It was quite late so we headed back to our hotel and had breakfast quickly and then set off for Lahore. As usual, the journey was long. We safely arrived at our hotel and were tired so thought to rest.
We had arrived there at about 4 pm. The wedding was on the night that day. So after some rest, we started to get ready for the wedding. I wore my green velvet dress because it was very cold there. At the wedding, it was fun and I enjoyed it. We met lots of relatives there. After we got back to our hotel it was very tiresome and I was sleepy so I slept immediately. We spent the rest of the days visiting relatives, going to museums and going to Lahore fort. That part was fun. There was also a souvenir shop there and I bought a Badshahi mosque magnet. That day we had our supper there on Food Street. It was delicious. After that, we got to our hotel. Our trip was over now, we had to go back. I liked the trip very much. We took the route now straight to Sukkur. We spent the night there. And headed back to Karachi. It was my first road trip experience and turned out very well. I would like to have another one very soon.
